Greece is the country with the largest coastline in the Mediterranean and its entire is connected with the involvement of its people with the sea. One of the most iconic Greek images is that of a fishing boat and of the fishermen. Using the basic construction material of a traditional fishing boat, wood and sail we created a collectible in two colors that preserves the magic and the essence of Greek culture and tradition.

Archaeological findings show that ship forms sailed in the Greek sea from a very long time ago, from 14th – 17th century B.C. while Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey are the oldest written references to shipbuilding methods, as well as the oldest testimonies about maritime life and shipbuilding art. For fifty centuries of naval history ships are made of wood and with sails.
